Cherry Hill Remodel
This second-story remodel refreshed the upper level of the home while preserving its original character and charm. Refinished hardwood floors were carried throughout to maintain continuity with the existing architecture, while new paint, wallpaper, and refinished stairs with a custom carpet runner gave the space a cohesive, much-needed facelift. These improvements bring new life to the second floor, creating spaces that feel brighter, more personal, and well suited to the homeowners’ evolving lifestyle.
At the heart of the project is an updated primary bathroom, redesigned to make better use of a confined footprint while significantly improving overall function. The original layout, featuring a separate shower, freestanding tub, and limited built-ins, was simplified into a tub-and-shower combination that still supports bathing a young child while freeing up valuable square footage. This shift made room for a tall linen cabinet, custom cabinetry above the toilet, and a double vanity with recessed medicine cabinets, all working together to reduce visual clutter and support everyday routines. Layered tilework, custom millwork, and a full-width shower niche add warmth and character, transforming the bathroom into a space that feels both efficient and thoughtfully detailed.
